Chiclana’s surroundings have traditionally been summer residential areas. Currently, it preserves the same character, as the different housing developments show which exist along its beaches.

• La Barrosa, 8 km long. Enjoys an impeccable service infrastructure, ideal for water sports and fishing. Close to this beach there is the tourist complex "Novo Sancti-Petri" with an important hotel offer at its disposal, appartments, recreational center, as well as a wonderful golf course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros.
• Sancti-Petri. It is a good place for windsurfing. Close to the beach, there is the Yacht Club and the jetty.
