Benalup-Casas Viejas is a traditionally agricultural township and of growing economic and tourist importance, located on the Route of the Bulls, and whose name comes from a castle built by its old Muslim inhabitants.

One of its main attractions is that of the different testimonies of the primitive settlers of the province which was shown in its caves and natural grottos.
